                  For over two decades, Dale Carlson has been involved with all aspects of  marketing and communication for the hospitality industry.  During this  time, she established property creative and graphic standards, implemented  direct mail programs, and directed creative development and negotiated paid  media placement of local and national advertising campaigns, in addition to  acting as on-property spokesperson. 
                  Ms. Carlson's focus on the resort sector of hospitality has given her the  opportunity to live and work in world class vacation destinations including Summit    County, Colorado; St.    Thomas, U.S. Virgin   Islands; Hilton Head Island, South    Carolina; Maui, Hawaii  and South Florida. 
                  Her commitment and dedication to each property led to an impressive  collection of feature hits in consumer and trade media.  Ms. Carlson also  created and promoted revenue- generating special events including concerts, art  festivals, cultural spectaculars, world-class sports competitions, and colorful  food and beverage programs.  
                   As the Director of Marketing & Communication at The Breakers in Palm    Beach, Ms. Carlson oversaw the media relations,  promotional and marketing services components of the landmark resort.   During her tenure, she also assisted in the creation of an annual print and  electronic advertising campaign, developed the property's four-color feature  newsletter, produced an annual 96-page signature magazine, handled all crisis  issues, published two commemorative books, and implemented the multi-media  promotional program for the resorts 1996 Centennial celebration.  
                   Ms. Carlson provides independent marketing and communication counsel for a  variety of projects.  Her client list includes the award-winning  communities of Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina, and Admirals Cove  in Jupiter, Florida; the historic Biltmore Estate and newly constructed Inn on  Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina; the newly opened Grand Key Resort  in Key West, Florida; Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa in Farmington,  Pennsylvania; and The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach.  She provided media  relations and public relations counsel to The Norton Museum of Art in West    Palm Beach, Florida, and the  Palm Beach Community College Foundation.   
                 Ms. Carlson is also the Managing Director for the Palm Beach/Treasure Coast chapter  of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International  (HSMAI).    |
