Mr. Connelly was a Managing Director/Partner in the Miami office of Korn/Ferry International, widely recognized as the leading global executive search firm.

He has over 20 years of executive recruiting experience, covering all functional areas of executive management. As one of the key partners in the firms Global Hospitality Practice, Mr. Connelly served a wide range of including Marriott Corporation, Northwest Airlines, Iberia Airlines, Caesars World, The Sands, Showboat, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Norwegian Cruise Lines.

In addition to his extensive recruiting experience, Mr. Connelly also launched a high end travel/ tour operation in southeast Asia offering luxury adventure tours in Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and India. Partnering with Orient Express, tour offerings included the luxurious 5 star river cruiser The Road to Mandalay.

After relocating to South Florida in 1990 as a Vice President with another executive search firm, Mr. Connelly developed a specialized practice for companies faced with a rapidly changing competitive environment, such as the airline and travel tourism sectors. Anchoring the practice in Miami, a dramatically growing international business center, Mr. Connelly has conducted searches in finance, marketing and general management. Positions have ranged from the Director level to the “C” suite.

In 1981, Mr. Connelly joined Korn/Ferry as a Principal in the Washington D.C. office, where he conducted searches for a variety of clients, including non-political administrative management positions in the White House.

Mr. Connelly received a BA from the University of Pittsburgh.
